Additional IMPRS offers

All IMPRS students have the possibility to attend the following courses, seminars and classes on a voluntary basis:

• Advanced courses on a wide range of scientific topics, e.g. superresolution imaging, interferometric scattering (iSCAT) microscopy, Python programming
• Seminars on additional skills, e.g. Scientific English Writing, presentation skills

The concrete topics of the workshops will be decided by the steering committee following student feedback. Some events will take place in the framework of the FAU Graduiertenzentrum, others will be organized with other graduate schools, i.e. the IMPRS Physics of Light.

• Buena-Salute Social Club - organization of social gatherings, e.g. quiz and movie nights, weekend excursions, sport events, journal clubs
